Your data
Privacy notice
This site is built to respect your privacy. It uses no tracking cookies and collects no personal data unless you choose to contact Maya.
Template notice — to be reviewed and adapted by Maya Kimche Simon before launch. This is not legal advice.
Who is responsible
Maya Kimche Simon (“we”, “the artist”) is the data controller for this website. For any privacy question or request you can write to maya37simon@gmail.com.
Analytics — no cookies, no personal data
We use a privacy-first, cookieless analytics tool (Vercel Web Analytics) to understand how the site is used. It records aggregate, anonymous information such as page views, approximate country, referrer and device type. It does not set cookies, does not build a profile of you, and cannot identify you. Because no personal data is processed, no consent banner is required under the EU GDPR or Israel’s Protection of Privacy Law.
When you contact us
If you use the contact form or email us, we collect the details you provide — your name, email address and message (and, where relevant, the artwork you are asking about).
- Purpose: solely to respond to your inquiry and, where applicable, to discuss a purchase or commission.
- Legal basis: your consent, and steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract.
- Retention: kept only as long as needed to handle your inquiry and any resulting relationship, then deleted.
Who processes your data
We use a small number of trusted service providers who act on our behalf:
- Vercel — website hosting and cookieless analytics.
- Resend — delivery of contact-form messages by email.
These providers may process data outside Israel or the EU under appropriate safeguards. We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and Israeli privacy law you may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email maya37simon@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Changes
We may update this notice as the site evolves. The current version is always available at this address.
